John joined Evans Harris & Co as it then was in 1977. He specialises in Overseas Investment work, business transactions, company law, wills, trusts, securities, conveyancing and sheep, beef and dairy farm transactions.
John is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ravensdown Fertiliser Co-operative Limited, one of New Zealand’s largest fertiliser manufacturers and suppliers. He is also the immediate past Chairman of Race Inc., the organisation that administers the largest portion of thoroughbred horse racing in the lower North Island.
David began his law career in 1971, coming to Marton from Wellington in 1978. He has extensive litigation experience in the civil, family and criminal jurisdictions. Over the last ten years his primary focus has been on rural law and litigation – property, succession planning, estates and property division.
David is past President of the Wanganui District Law Society and has extensive community involvement through the Marton Lions Club and community projects.
Jenny has been with Evans Henderson Woodbridge since 1989. As a legal executive she specialises in property conveyancing, mortgages, refinancing, family trusts, wills and estate administration. Jenny is also in charge of the day to day running of the firm’s Nominee Company and as Practice Manager manages the firm’s business side of things. She enjoys her job immensely and values the repeat business from her clients.
She believes that it is the team’s job to ensure that all transactions proceed smoothly and are handled in a friendly and professional manner. Throughout they’re supported by the firm’s Partners. “Our clients’ interests are our number one priority throughout any dealing”.
Teresa joined Evans Henderson Woodbridge in 2013 after a very successful career in real estate. Her real estate experience has been invaluable and her role will extend to dealing with estate administration, wills and general practice as her experience grows.
Teresa is enjoying the challenge of working on the other side of real estate transactions while continuing her enjoyment of working with clients who appreciate her diligence, dedication and delightful manner.
Andrea began with Evans Henderson Woodbridge in February 2013 as a Legal Executive. She hails from Argentina where she was fully qualified as a Lawyer and Notary Public and has had wide experience in journalism.
Andrea qualified as a lawyer in Argentina in 2008 and undertook general practice in Mendoza Province. She intends to qualify to practice as a lawyer in New Zealand.
Her current responsibilities include management of a large commercial leasing portfolio for one of the firm’s clients, debt collection and other general practice matters. While her legal experience has largely been in a foreign jurisdiction, many of the issues lawyers confront are common to all jurisdictions and her previous legal experience is invaluable.
